Chongqing Public Library "Pocket Book for Rail Transit" Project Launched at Zengjiayan Railway Station
On the morning of 25th April, the main venue launching ceremony of the Chongqing Public Library "Pocket Book for Rail Transit" Project was held at Zengjiayan Station on Metro Line 2. Hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Commission and undertaken by Chongqing Library and Yuzhong District Culture and Tourism Commission, the launching ceremony also set up 8 branch venues in Dadukou District, Jiangbei District, Shapingba District, Jiulongpo District, Nan'an District, Beibei District, Yubei District and Banan District. As an important measure taken by the Municipal Culture and Tourism Commission to advance civil reading and construct new public cultural spaces, the "Pocket Book for Rail Transit" Project has played an active role in improving the coverage and efficiency of public library services, as well as increasing social reading rates.
